Celebrating 50 Years of Bore Surfing
Pororoca 2005, Mearim River, Maranhão State.
The March New Moon 2005 saw the inaugural international meeting of tidal bore surfers from France, England and Brazil in the city of Arari in Maranhão state, where the Brazilian poro-rockers introduced the European teams to the quality waves of the Mearim river.
